Seeing my marriage as a way to change the world constantly serves as a reminder to me of my role to play. Staying stuck in my “me” zone is simply not going to cut it anymore! I’ve seen the ripple effect that marriages have in affecting many lives, even throughout generations–for good and for bad. It’s a huge perspective shift to understand that, even if we isolated ourselves, we are not a private show. The world will know–through our children, family, friends–and it will change minds and thought processes and conclusions. What a responsibility! What a challenge.
